The Bluedio T4is a pair of wireless over-ear headphones available on Amazon for only $45.
They have a premium look and feel, Bluetooth connectivity, and active noise cancellation (ANC).
But with such a low price tag, I wondered… can these headphones actually be any good?
I decided to find out.

Like nearly every product out there, the Bluedio T4 excels in some areas, and falls short in others.
I paid $65 for these but they're currently listed at $45 so I'm judging them against the competition in this price range.
Let me start by saying that although I have some gripes with these headphones, I do think they're a good purchase for casual listening, but not at all useful for working out or watching video.
Bluedio T4 Sound Quality
The sound quality on the Bluedio T4 is good at any price point and excellent when compared to anything else priced at $45.
The bass is almost as strong as most Beats, but isn't overpowering, and the highs are detailed without being ear piercing. Video capture for mac pro.
There really isn't anything negative to say about the sound quality, but you should be aware that the audio can be about 1 second behind video, making them music-only headphones.
Bluedio T4 Build Quality
Not long after taking the Bluedio T4 out of the box, I noticed that one of the earcup indicators had fallen off, exposing the screw underneath.
But despite that issue, which can be corrected with a drop of glue, the build quality is actually pretty good.
The synthetic leather seems durable and is stitched straight. The metal components feel really solid and I have no worries about the headband snapping.
I've stretched these things out wider than even the largest head would and they didn't seem even close to their breaking point. Ios 10.10 mac download.

Bluedio T4 Design and Style
The overall design is very functional. The earcups fold flat for storage, the notches in the headband adjustment are numbered so you can recreate the perfect fit every time, and the buttons are easily accessible.

The style of the Bluedio T4 is what originally drew me to them, although I could do without the word “Turbine” on the headband.
But the black and metallic color combination is elegant and the curved metal components look like they belong on a pair of headphones priced at least 3 times higher than these are.
They're as much a display piece and conversation starter as they are a pair of headphones.
Bluedio T4 Active Noise Cancellation (ANC)
The ANC on the Bluedio T4 doesn't so much cancel noise, but rather reduces it. It does this by blocking out some of the lower frequency ambient noise.
Unfortunately, the ANC also reduces the low notes in the music, making it a useless feature for me. Mac high sierra download.

The sound quality on the Bludio T4 is excellent for the $45 price tag and it's a shame that the ANC spoils that.
But at least you have the option to turn it on and off, unlike my Beats Studio Wireless which is on all the time.
Bluedio T4 Fit, Security, and Comfort
The Bluedio T4 is very comfortable for an over/on ear headphone. Unfortunately, the very same things that make them comfortable also make them insecure on your head.
The round earcups, light clamping force, and smooth headband make it almost impossible to keep the them on your head if you do anything other than keep your head facing perfectly forward.
If I so much as look down in my desk drawer while wearing these, they slide right off my head.
So, of course, these are completely out of the running for a gym headphone. Process software for mac.

Bluedio T4 Packaging and Accessories
The packaging is another area where the Bluedio T4 outperforms expectations in this price category.
The unboxing experience was on par with my $300 Sennheiser Momentum 2.0.
The main box is textured with a magnetic closure and is sturdy enough for repeated storage and the instruction booklet makes the controls easy enough to understand.
The charging cable is a flat design which means it won't tangle easily and the 3.5mm headphone jack gives you the option to use the headphones when the battery is dead.
Bluedio T4 Final Thoughts
There are a couple major flaws with this pair of headphones, but the things it does right, it does magnificently for the price point.
I don't like the insecure fit, latency when watching video, or the fact that the ANC reduces the bass of your music.
But if their intended purpose is to listen to music while stationary, like in your easy chair or at a coffee shop, they're excellent value at only $45.
